Forklift Extension Forks

Forklift fork extensions are used to extend the length of your existing forks. The purpose of the extenders is to improve the reach of the forklift to safely transport large, longer and bulky loads.Fork extensions are designed for light bulky loads. If you have heavy loads or will be exceeding maximum allowed load center (36” for 72” fork extensions), you should consider longer forks in lieu of extensions.As a general rule of thumb, a forklift extension shouldn't exceed 1.5 times the length of the regular fork. Thus, if a forklift's forks are 6 feet long, the extensions for that forklift are 9 feet.
