UV DTF (Ultraviolet Direct-to-Film) film is a two-part, adhesive-coated media (Film A & Film B) used for creating durable, vibrant decals for hard, irregular surfaces, bypassing heat presses by printing with UV inks that cure instantly, allowing for easy, hand-applied transfers to materials like glass, metal, wood, and plastic. This process combines UV printing's quality with DTF's application ease, producing waterproof, scratch-resistant prints for items like mugs, phone cases, and tumblers How it Works (The A/B Film System): Film A (Print Film): A special film with a built-in adhesive coating where the UV printer lays down CMYK (color) inks, white ink, and varnish. UV Curing: The UV printer's lights instantly dry and harden the ink, creating a durable image on Film A. Lamination: Film A (printed side) is laminated with a transparent positioning film (Film B) using heat, transferring the image to Film B. Application: Film B (with the design) is then peeled from Film A and simply pressed onto the desired hard surface, like a sticker.
