Screw Elevator

Generally used for hygienic conveying-elevating of dehydrated fruits, vegs, pulses, grains, raisins etc. to following process equipment. A screw drive is use in many commercial and residential wheelchair lifts. This utilizes a long screw shaft and drive nut to raise and lower the platform. The speed of the screw drive wheelchair lift is fairly slow, so it is typically used in applications with 6 feet or less vertical travel.Screw and nut drive lifts are incredibly simple. The lift car (or platform) is attached to the drive nut. When a control button is pressed in the lift, the motor turns the drive nut in the corresponding direction. When the motor turns the drive nut one way, the lift car goes up.At a minimum, a screw drive is a set of shaped cavities and protrusions on the screw head that allows torque to be applied to it. Usually, it also involves a mating tool, such as a screwdriver, that is used to turn it.
