Vibrating conveyors consist of troughs or tubes flexibly supported and vibrated by mechanical or electrical means to convey objects or bulk materials; vibration takes place in an inclined, elliptical pattern to cause directional as well as upward movement of the material.“One way to reduce this vibration is to install a solid slider bedplate on the frame,” Mr. Kuhnz said. “Not only will it lower the vibration from gaps in the wear strips, (the bedplate is) also completely supported, making it ideal for fragile product applications.”
