This Separator efficiently removes both coarse and fine impurities from grain through precise screening, and is highly effective at classifying a broad range of materials by size. Beyond its primary role in grain handling, the Separator is also successfully utilized in feed mills, seed cleaning plants, oilseed cleaning, and cocoa bean grading. Stratification (Vibration): The machine vigorously vibrates the grain mixture. This agitation causes stratification, where the lighter impurities (e.g., dust, husks, chaff) rise toward the top layer, while the denser, heavier maize kernels settle at the bottom.Sieving (Screening): As the stratified mixture moves across the vibrating screen (sieve), the cleaned maize kernels, being of the correct size, pass through the precisely sized screen openings. Oversized and foreign material are conveyed to a separate discharge point and discarded.Collection: Cleaned, graded maize kernels are efficiently collected from the separator's outlet, prepared for subsequent processing steps or packaging.Adjustability: Modern units feature adjustable controls for the intensity of vibration and the ability to interchange screens, allowing operators to customize separation based on the specific grain, desired purity, and contamination level.
