Municipal Solid Waste Recycling Plant

Municipal solid waste (MSW) is defined as waste collected by the municipality or disposed of at the municipal waste disposal site and includes residential, industrial, institutional, commercial, municipal, and construction and demolition waste.Recycling of municipal waste includes material recycling and composting/anaerobic digestion and might also include preparing for reuse. Separating, recovering, and reusing components of solid waste that may still have economic value is called recycling. One type of recycling is the recovery and reuse of heat energy, a practice discussed separately in incineration.
