Industrial Water Chiller

The function of an industrial chiller is to move heat from one location (usually process equipment or product) to another place (usually the air outside the manufacturing facility).Water chillers can be air-cooled or water-cooled. They differ in how they reject heat into the environment. Water chiller compressors can be centrifugal, screw, scroll, or reciprocating. Each type of compressor has its advantages and disadvantages.Water-cooled chillers use water to surround the refrigerant pipes and draw in the heat (path shown in red). The water is then pumped into a cooling tower to release the heat.Chillers are further categorised by the type of compressor technology used: (1) centrifugal, (2) scroll, (3) reciprocating, and (4) screw. Chiller units are refrigerant systems that aid in cooling residential/commercial spaces, machines, industrial operations, and industrial chemicals.
