Commonly used to cool products and machinery, water chillers are used in a multitude of different applications including injection molding, tool and die cutting, food and beverage, chemicals, lasers, machine tool, semi-conductors and more.A chiller (cooling water circulation device) is a general term for a device that controls the temperature by circulating a liquid such as water or heat medium as a cooling liquid whose temperature was adjusted by the refrigerant cycle.Chillers operate on the principle of compression or absorption of a vapor. They are designed to provide a continuous flow of coolant to maintain a preset temperature. As the diagram shows, they are a continually circulating system of fluid that lowers the temperature by removing heat.
