A water cooler or water dispenser is a device that cools and dispenses water. Water coolers come in a variety of form factors, ranging from wall-mounted to bottle filler water cooler combination units, to bi-level units and other formats.A water cooler works by using a refrigerant to cool water. The refrigerant is compressed, causing it to become hot. The hot refrigerant is then passed through a condenser, which cools it down. The refrigerant is then squeezed through an expansion valve, which further decreases its temperature.
