Description

A typical Demineralization Plant (DM Plant) consists of two vessels. The feed water or raw water is passed through first vessel i.e. containing strong base cation resin in the form of Hydrogen (H+), whereupon all the positively charged ions (sodium, calcium, iron and copper etc.)A stream is initially treated with a strong acid cation (SAC) resin, which collects dissolved cations and releases hydrogen (H+) ions in exchange in two-bed demineralization. The mineral acid solution is subsequently sent to the resin bed for strong base anion (SBA).In pure scientific terms, conductivity tells you how well electricity is passing through a substance. On the other hand, TDS indicates the amount of dissolved solids within a liquid, accounting for both conductible and non-conductible particles.
