Demineralization is the process of removing mineral salts from Water by using the ion exchange process. Demineralised Water is Water completely free ( or almost ) of dissolved minerals as a result of one of the following processes.Demineralization involves the use of both cation and anion resins to produce 'deionized water'. This can be achieved by a two-stage process in which the raw water is first passed through a column containing a strong cation resin (H) form, and then through a strong anion resin .Demineralized water is often used to sanitize containers and equipment. It is also used in certain food processing applications, although membrane filtration is usually the technology used so organic material, bacteria, viruses, etc., can be eliminated.Demineralisation is the process of removing mineral contents in water. Water naturally contains dissolved mineral salts, these salts when present in the boiler water can either cause corrosion or scaling in the piping systems.
