Water Filter Plant for Pharma Industry

Raw water contains undesirable sediments, colour, algae (which can produce a taste and smell) and other harmful organisms. The Water Filtration Plant (WFP) is designed to remove this undesirable matter, and produce water fit and safe for drinking.There are three often used different types of industrial water filtration systems in pharmaceuticals which will be discussed including; ion exchange, reverse osmosis (RO) and distillation. 1. Ion exchange is one of the most desirable types of purified water treatments.The most common filter membrane types are reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, and nanofiltration. Within the pharmaceutical industry, membranes are used to sterilize and deionize water. Different membranes should be used in different systems depending on their characteristics.
