Fan Jet Nozzle

A flat fan spray nozzle serves the purpose of spraying onto a surface or an object moving in a transverse direction with respect to the one of the jet surface, a typical example being the nozzles in a car washing tunnel.A simple jet nozzle is a round orifice of a small length-to-diameter ratio (L/d), ideally less than 0.25. A jet of fluid emerges from the orifice at high speed.A nozzle is a mechanical device or orifice designed to control the characteristics of a fluid flow as it exits (or enters) an enclosed chamber or pipe. A nozzle is often a pipe or tube of varying cross sectional area, and it can be used to direct or modify the flow of a fluid (liquid or gas).
