RO Water Softening Plant

The Water Softeners process are charged with a high capacity polystyrene bead cation exchange resin in sodium form. When hard water passes through this resin column, the hardness forming calcium and magnesium salts are replaced with sodium salts which do not posses any hardness properties.A reverse osmosis system removes sediment and chlorine from the water with a pre-filter before it forces water through a semipermeable membrane to remove dissolved solids. After water exits the RO membrane, it passes through a postfilter to polish the drinking water before it enters a dedicated faucet.
