MasterSeal 910 Waterbar is suitable for allconstruction joints subject to hydrostatic pressure,on one or both sides. MasterSeal 910 providesimple but efficient waterproofing of constructionjoints. Movements in the joint, e.g. by shrinkage orsettlement in the substrate, are taken up by theelastic profile of the MasterSeal 910 Waterbar.MasterSeal 910 has been successfully employedto waterproof joints where an opening of up to5mm was deliberately created. Water pressure ofup to 5 bar was sealed.MasterSeal 910 is based on a newly developedpolymer technology providing flexible polymercomposites which have high chemical resistancecapable of storing water in their molecularstructure by increasing their volume.Where previously MasterSeal 910 was availablein different grades for various exposure conditions.A single version of MasterSeal 910 now resistsdeterioration in the following conditions: In freshwater and where the water has a high salt content(sea water, brackish water), in construction withhigh chemical exposure and/or exposure ofsolvents, including oils and fuels.MasterSeal 910 is a component of the MasterBuilders Solutions pile-cap waterproofing andwatertight jointing systems.
