Description
91 000 74051 MYK LATICRETE 9237 is a ready-to-use, liquid rubber waterproofing membrane — roller-applied — that creates a seamless, flexible waterproof barrier. It's designed for use under ceramic tile, stone and other finishes in both thin-bed and thick-bed installations on floors and walls. ✅ Key Features & Benefits Easy application — 9237 applies like paint using a brush or roller. Clean and safe during application — water-cleanable when fresh, non-flammable, generally low in odor. Crack isolation / anti-fracture protection — can bridge non-structural cracks up to ~ 3 mm (1/8″), protecting tile/stone finishing from substrate shrinkage or minor cracks. Strong adhesion to many substrates — effective on concrete, cement mortar beds, cement plaster, cement backer boards, gypsum wallboard, brick or masonry, even exterior-grade plywood (check substrate suitability for exterior use). Versatile use — horizontal & vertical surfaces — suitable for wet areas like bathrooms, kitchens, terraces, balconies, utility rooms; also for exterior or interior applications depending on substrate. ️ Typical Applications Bathrooms, shower areas, washrooms — as a waterproof barrier under tiles/stone. Kitchens, laundries, utility areas or other indoor wet zones. Balconies, terraces, and other semi-exterior spaces (depending on substrate and local guidelines). Under tile or stone finishes over cement mortar beds, backer-boards, concrete, plaster, or masonry — residential or commercial floors/walls. Packaging, Coverage & Standards Available in 5 L and 20 L pails Coverage: ~ 200–225 sq. ft per 20 L pail (coverage may vary with substrate condition, thickness applied, and application method). Meets recognized standards for waterproofing membranes (e.g. conforming to standards like EN 14891 / similar relevant specs). Important Usage & Installation Notes Substrate must be clean, sound, free of dust, oil, sealers, curing compounds etc. before application for optimal adhesion. In areas with corners, coves, board joints, or changes in plane, it's recommended to use reinforcing fabric along with the liquid membrane for improved waterproofing integrity. Allow membrane coats to dry sufficiently (per manufacturer instructions) before tiling or further work. Some data sheets note tile/stone can be installed once the membrane is "dry to touch"
