Weight Lifting Bars

A barbell is a piece of exercise equipment used in weight training, bodybuilding, weightlifting, powerlifting and strongman, consisting of a long bar, usually with weights attached at each end.Most bars are made from American steel and its quality can be the difference between a good bar and a bad one. Some steel has the ability to bend a bit and rebound, which is known as the bar's “whip.” Bars also have a grooved or “knurled” part that allows you to get a better grip on the bar.
