GF 20D Ring Making Machine

The GF 20D Ring Making Machine is a semi automatic device that bends steel rods to exact curves - it holds a 2.2 kW motor that turns at 1440 rpm and draws 415 V from a three phase line. Rods from 4 mm to 20 mm pass through the head plus leave as closed rings. A frame of mild steel and stainless steel keeps the parts aligned under load. At full pace the head completes 25 - 30 rings each minute. The diameter of the ring is set by a simple stop - one machine covers many cage but also tie sizes. Builders use the unit on site and in precast yards for stirrups, column spirals as well as circular reinforcement cages.
