Description
Tested quality: our Stainless Steel Wire Rope clamps in stirrup shape are made of blackened V4A AISI 316 stainless steel and can be used for 2mm - 6mm thick steel ropes. Using calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the wire rope clamps could be determined: 2mm: 280kg 3mm: 601kg 4mm: 1,100kg 5mm: 1.682kg 6mm: 2.446kg Attention. The breaking forces of the black Stainless Steel Wire Rope clamps are given without safety factor. Please add at least a 3-5 times safety factor for your application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page. Please note that wire rope clamps according to DIN 741 must not be used for loads above persons, conveyor systems in mining, in rope drives of cranes or for end connections of sling ropes.
