A wrestling mat is a specialized, shock-absorbing, and non-slip floor surface used for combat sports, designed to protect athletes from high-impact falls. It typically features a high-density, closed-cell foam core (EVA or PE) covered in durable vinyl with antimicrobial properties. Standard mats often measure 12x12m or 40'x40' with a 9m diameter competition circle, 5–7cm thickness, and are designed for, but not limited to, UWW-approved competitions.
